The number of sexual assaults against women in the U.S. is staggering. Drew’s guest, Miyo Strong, is determined to lower that number and protect as many women and girls as she can. She is a mother of two, a sponsored athlete and she teaches jiu-jitsu in her self-defense classes in Utah. After being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 9, Michael Griffith has had to consider his blood sugar levels at every step of his life. Managing his diabetes during severe weight drops for high school wrestling sparked his interest in the biomechanics behind his condition. He received his Masters of Science from University of Kansas Medical Center and has dedicated his life to helping athletes cure chronic injuries when traditional medicine has been ineffective. He has written articles for Men’s Fitness, Diabetes Forecast and contributed to the Complete Idiot’s Guide to Core Conditioning.
