After Lori and her husband Ted make a commitment to lead healthier lives they find out Ted has a rare form of brain cancer. Ted’s last wish for Lori was that she love herself as much as he loves her by keeping her weight-loss promise. During this raw, emotional episode, Lori shares how exercise and healthy eating helped her keep her word to her late husband and helped her rise up from the dark place she was in emotionally. She also discusses the rocky patch she and her trainer, Eric, went through and what a blessing the Fit to Fat to Fit Experience was for her.

Eating whatever you want may seem like the easiest thing in the world but when you are a trainer who thinks about food as nutrition and energy, devouring a pizza and 2-liters of root beer can do some serious damage to your mental health. After being invited on the show and then subsequently being dismissed, Jessi kept true to her word and gained 50 pounds, had major health issues and helped her husband, Jeremy to lose over 100 pounds. Much of Jessi’s story will and determination never made it on the show. She shares all the nitty gritty details during this conversation with Drew.

At first, Felicia Romero wasn’t certain she wanted to accept the Fit to Fat to Fit challenge but immediately said yes after she learned her sister was also chosen to be on the show. Felicia thought she might enjoy some mindless eating and began devouring every pancake offered by IHOP but her body resisted her by making her physically sick and depressed.
